Cathleen & Francisco E-Session

I had the pleasure of shooting Cathleen and Francisco last Saturday and we had a blast! We started out on the waterfront in downtown Portland and just strolled along looking for cool spots to shoot. We even went across the Hawthorne bridge and got in trouble by the bridge lady on the way. We tried to shoot in the center of the bridge with the traffic passing by on both sides but were greeted with "Get off the deck of the bridge! Do NOT stand in the bridge pillars! Get off the deck of the bridge now!" We are such rebels!

After we had enough of downtown we went up the the Pittock Mansion to finish the shoot. There are some great views up there and we were able to grab a few scenic shots to end the day.

Cathleen and Francisco you guys were a lot of fun to hang out with and I'm really looking forward to shooting your wedding in June! It's getting close! Woot!

Here are some of my favorites from the day:

Sean & Stacy E-Session

I recently shot Sean & Stacy's Engagement session and we had a blast! They were a little nervous at first, but quickly relaxed and let their true personalities and love for each other shine in front of the camera. We strolled through a local park looking for cool places to shoot and had a lot of laughs along the way. They actually had some great ideas to try themselves (except when Stacy fell, but we won't talk about that right Sean =P). All in all I had a great evening with them and I think they may have enjoyed it a little too =).

Sean & Stacy you guys totally rock and I'm super excited to shoot your wedding next year! Thanks for a great time and letting me be part of your day.

Oregon Sunset

I'm sitting here sick today going through some images I took the other night and I'm reminded why I love Oregon so much. The rain during the winter totally sucks, but the Summer and Fall are breath taking.
We were getting dinner ready the other night and I started to see the sky turning orange. I grabbed my camera and jumped on the roof of my shed and snagged a few shots. Nothing special, but I thought I'd share.
Enjoy!

Matt & Tiffany Wedding

I had the pleasure of shooting Matt & Tiffany's wedding this past weekend with Tom Stram. Matt & Tiffany were a great couple and had a such a wonderful family. Both of their sets of parents have been married exactly 36 years! What are the odds?! I have no doubt Matt & Tiffany will get to that mark and go happily past it, as the love between these two is obviously very strong. They met on E-Harmony and I guess it works because as far as I could see, they are the perfect match!

Thanks for letting me be a part of your awesome day Matt and Tiffany!
